The influence of the twin sherry casks are wonderfully balanced, with  juicy, syrupy sweetness from the Pedro Ximénez perfectly enveloping the stunning depth and dryness of the Oloroso.

Robust, chewy and rich, with initial notes of stewed pears, overly ripened soft red apples, candied orange peel, dark chocolate and Kirsch soaked Black Forest Gateau.

Then raisins, prunes, apricot, roasted nuts. Think Christmas pudding drizzled in fig syrup, giving way to an array of warming winter spices, liquorice, stem ginger, clove, nutmeg and cinnamon, all caressed in old leather, cocoa and wonderful dark muscovado treacle. 48%alc/700ml
