Killoween five-year-old Rum & Raisin single malt Irish whiskey has been matured in a combination of ex-rum and ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. Aromas of apple juice, molasses and Christmas pudding fill the nose, complemented by notes of sultanas, figs, vanilla, toffee apples, almonds, cinnamon and nutmeg throughout the palate.
Bottled at cask strength 55%, only 660 bottles released and very much sort after. Available in-store from Dicey Reilly’s Off Licence swell as on line.
