Located just behind the new Teeling distillery is the historic Blackpitts area of Dublin which provides the inspiration for the Teeling Blackpitts – an unconventional peated single malt Irish whiskey. Triple distilled from malted barley dried over peat fires and then matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sauternes casks, this produces a truely distinctive taste profile.
