B.A.B.S, put simply stands for ‘Barrel-Aged Blended Stout’.
This blend of 4 stouts has been aged for over 12 months in 5 different barrel types,
including; Bourbon, PX Sherry, Red Wine Barrels and both Jamaican and Barbadian Rum.
As you would expect it’s a delightfully rich, decadent beer, that follows on from our first blend of B.A.B.S. 12 months ago. Complex, dark layers emerge and balance each other from the ageing and blending process.
The 4 Imperial Stouts include one with a punchy 16% nuance, and another with a balancing acidity. The stouts coupled with Modus Operandi contribute depth, balance and a satisfying boozy character to this blend.
The culmination is sublime, an amalgamation of 4 different beers across 15 unique barrels.
