A limited release of The Legendary Dark Silkie Cask Strength. The Dark Silkie Cask Strength is, like the 46% bottling, non-chill filtered and natural colour. Bottled at 64.5% ABV the Dark Silkie has remarkable softness, a velvety nature, with rich sweet smoke and dark fruit. This was a release of just 210 bottles.
On the nose: Aromatic salted caramel, heather, baked apple and a spicy smoke overlay. To taste: Soft and supple with a tropical sweetness to the fore, followed by dark fruits and stewed plum, pipe tobacco and a deep velvety mouthfeel, balancing the dry spicy smoke.And a long, spicy with a comforting lingering sweet pipe smoke finish.
